Privacy Policy
Idle Block Shooter
This privacy policy applies to the mobile game Idle Block Shooter (the "Game"), published by Bilgehan Coşkun ("we", "us"). It explains what information is handled when you play the Game, and the choices you have.
The short version
- There is no registration. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any contact details.
- The Game creates an anonymous player account for you automatically and saves your game progress on our server, so it can be restored on your device.
- In-app purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We receive a record of each purchase so we can verify and deliver it. We never see your payment details.
- The Game shows advertisements, including optional rewarded videos. It also uses analytics, crash reporting and install attribution. The third-party services that provide these features collect some device data, described below.
- You can delete your account at any time inside the Game: Settings > Account > Delete account.
- We do not sell your data.
Information the Game sends to our server
The Game connects to our game server (hosted by Amazon Web Services, which processes the data on our behalf) to keep your progress and purchases safe:
- An anonymous player identifier. The Game creates it on your device. On Android it is derived, in a one-way form that cannot be reversed, from the app-specific device identifier, so the Game can find your progress again after a reinstall. It does not contain your name or any contact details.
- Your game progress. Levels, currencies, items, skins, pets, missions, season pass progress, tutorial steps and similar game state, with the time of each save, the app version and the platform.
- Purchase records. For each in-app purchase, the product and the purchase receipt or transaction details that Google Play or the App Store give the Game. We send them to the store to check that the purchase is genuine, then deliver it, restore it when you ask, and use the records to prevent fraud.
- Connection data. Like any internet service, our server receives your IP address when the Game connects. We use it only to provide the service and to protect it from abuse.
We use this information to run the Game: to save and restore your progress, to deliver and restore purchases, to detect cheating and fraud, and to provide support.
Information collected by third-party services
The Game includes the following third-party software components. They may collect and process data on their providers' servers:
- AppLovin MAX (advertising and ad mediation, by AppLovin Corporation). Collects data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device type and operating system, and information about the ads you see and interact with, in order to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud. AppLovin MAX works with other advertising networks, which may receive the same kinds of data to serve ads. See the AppLovin privacy policy and the list of advertising partners' privacy policies.
- Firebase Analytics (analytics, by Google LLC). Collects data such as app usage and gameplay events (including purchase events), session information, approximate location derived from IP address, and device identifiers, in order to help us understand how the Game is played and improve it. See the Firebase privacy documentation and the Google privacy policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting, by Google LLC). Collects crash reports, including device state and installation identifiers, when the Game crashes, in order to find and fix bugs.
- AppsFlyer (install attribution and marketing analytics, by AppsFlyer Ltd.). Collects data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device type and operating system, and app events such as installs and level completions, in order to measure which marketing channel an install came from and how marketing campaigns perform. See the AppsFlyer services privacy policy; you can opt out of AppsFlyer analytics via the request form linked there.
- Google Play Billing and the App Store (in-app purchases, by Google LLC and Apple Inc.). Process your payment directly under their own terms. We receive only the purchase record described above, never your card or account details. See the Google privacy policy and the Apple privacy policy.
- Google Play services (platform services, by Google LLC), required for the app to run on Android devices. See the Google privacy policy.
Advertising and your choices
Ads in the Game may be personalized, which means ad partners use your device's advertising identifier and related data to choose ads that may interest you. You can limit personalized ads, or reset or delete the advertising identifier, at any time in your device settings (see below). If you do, you may still see ads, but they will not be based on that identifier.
Advertising identifier
The Game's advertising, attribution and analytics partners use your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS). On iOS, the identifier is used for tracking only if you allow it through the App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can reset this identifier, or limit or opt out of personalized advertising, at any time in your device settings:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads)
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and Apple Advertising under Privacy & Security
Information kept only on your device
Your sound, haptics and notification settings and the nickname you may enter for the leaderboard stay on your device and are not sent to us. If you allow notifications, the Game schedules reminders on your device; no data is sent for them.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any content from your device.
Data sharing
Device data described above is shared only with the service providers named in this policy and the advertising partners reached through AppLovin MAX, for the purposes of running the Game, showing ads, providing analytics and crash reporting, verifying purchases, and attributing installs to marketing campaigns. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else, except where required by law.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account inside the Game: open Settings > Account > Delete account and confirm. This:
- removes your progress, currencies, items, purchases and settings from your device;
- closes your account on our server for good, so it can never be signed in to or restored on any device, and purchases are not carried over to a new player.
After an account is closed, we keep a copy of its game data and purchase records so that we can help you if you deleted your account by mistake, and to prevent fraud. You can ask us to erase that copy by writing to the address below. Uninstalling the Game removes the data stored on your device, but does not delete your account on our server.
Data retention
We keep your game progress and purchase records while your account is active, and after deletion as described above. Data collected by the third-party services above is retained according to their own policies.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us and we will work with our service providers to delete it.
Security
Data exchanged between the Game, our server and the services above is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing, including personalized advertising. You can delete your account inside the Game, limit personalized advertising in your device settings, contact us at the address below, or exercise your rights directly with the third-party providers listed above. Because the Game does not ask who you are, we may need details about your device and play to find your data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
